By using UPSC CMS PYQss, you consent to this policy. We take your privacy seriously and collect only the minimum data needed to run the platform.

1. Information We Collect

When you register, we collect your full name, mobile number, and a securely hashed password. We do not collect email addresses, payment card numbers, or Aadhaar details directly. Razorpay, our payment partner, handles payment data under their own privacy policy.

We also automatically log:

Your quiz attempts, scores, and answer selections (to power your dashboard and review mode).
Daily activity dates (for streak tracking).
Your IP address and browser user-agent at registration time — stored immutably as part of the consent record.
Session cookies and a persistent auto-login cookie (365-day expiry) on your device.

2. How We Use Your Data

Authenticate you and keep you logged in.
Track test completion, scores, and streaks on your personal dashboard.
Process and verify payments via Razorpay.
Comply with legal obligations or respond to valid law-enforcement requests.

We never sell your data to third parties and do not display third-party advertising.

3. Data Sharing

We share minimal data with:

Razorpay — your name and mobile number are passed to prefill the payment form.
Hosting provider — server logs may contain your IP address.

4. Data Retention

Your account and all associated data are retained as long as you maintain an account. You may contact us at support@upsccms.in to request deletion. Consent records are retained permanently as a legal record.

5. Cookies

We use one essential session cookie (deleted when you close the browser) and one persistent auto-login cookie (auto_token, 365-day expiry). No tracking or analytics cookies are used.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed using PHP's PASSWORD_DEFAULT bcrypt algorithm. Auto-login tokens are 64-byte cryptographically random hex strings. We use HTTPS for all traffic.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted via a banner on the site. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
